The Big Game
Description:

This summer game show on NBC was a cross between Battleship and Crocodile Dundee. Two contestants each received three animal magnets to place on a hidden playing field (the audience could see it, but not the other contestant). Similar to Battleship, the playing field was a grid made up of 25 squares. Animals from large to small took up one to four spaces.

Contestants were then asked trivia questions. If they answered correctly, they could take a shot at bagging the other contestant's animals. Bagging one animal was worth $100, two was $400, and bagging all three was worth $1,500.

The Big Game Premiered:

June, 1958
