Philbin, Regis
Although Regis has hosted a game show before ("The Neighbors"), audiences were more familiar with Regis' easy banter and occasional rants from several daytime talk shows, including the popular Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee. But it was the friendly, enthusiastic way he had with the contestants on ABC's hit prime time game show that propelled him into game show history.

Born August 25, 1933, in New York, New York.

Graduated Notre Dame University.

Currently married to Joy Senese, with two children (Joanna and Jennifer).

Previously married to Catherine Faylen, with two children (Amy and Dan).

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (U.S. Edition)

Other Credits:

The Joey Bishop Show

"I started small and learned to keep it small. Small is friendlier and more real. Small lasts longer. It wears well. I guess that's why I'm still around." :: excerpt from I'm Only One Man!

"We have a lot of fun talking about nothing all that important and nothing in particular. We just cover the little incidents and minutiae of life. To Jerry [Seinfeld], that's nothing. If he thinks we've elevated it into an art form, what am I going to do? Argue with him?" --excerpt from Who Wants to Be Me?
